Photos don't always make it easy to work out how parts of the garden relate to each other, so here's a short video walk though the garden. I need to be a little less shakey holding the camera :)
Before watching this video I thought "perfect, I'll finally get to understand their garden's layout!". Um, it really is a maze, isn't it? A wonderful, fabulous maze.
(I felt like Harry Potter in the Tri-Wizards Tournament maze -- I swear things kept moving around!)
Dear Gaz, loved to see the video of your garden! Your get such a better sense of the space than from looking at photos. It is really a jungle out there! My husband to whom I showed your video thought that you were located in Florida. I guess that is a big compliment ;-)! Warm regards, Christina
Oh that was fun! I've been thinking about doing a video tour this summer, rather than my usual photo tour. You've pushed me a little further along in that line of thinking.
Wow, I got a new perspective on just how wonderful, lush and exotic your garden is. I had to laugh. I was thinking, 'All it needs are some tropical birds,' and you immediately panned the camera up to a tropical bird!

Thanks Alan! And we really ought to blog about the garden layout soon!
DeleteThat was fun! But I don't think I'm any clearer about the layout of your fabulous jungle.
ReplyDeleteWill do a post about our garden layout Alison :)
DeleteIt looks very refreshing :)
ReplyDeleteIt was especially in the last few days Lisa :)
DeleteThe garden feels bigger in the video than I'd previously imagined. The koi and the cats need coverage in your next film!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris! That'll be on another video :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Kris :) Urban location kicks in and one will need to do a loop!
