This gardening blog follows our journey as we create our Tropical and Exotic themed garden. We hope you'll enjoy the journey as much as we do. We started our Exotic Garden in 2005 and this site will show its development, as well as our travels, both abroad and within the UK to gardens, nurseries and friends. See also our full about page
A very handsome fellow!
ReplyDeleteDapper isn't he Peter? :)
DeleteIs he a visitor? don´t think so as I can see lawn :)
ReplyDeleteNo Lisa, it was taken at Wisley :) Thankfully no ducks visiting our garden (as they can pollute our 'clean' ponds).
DeleteQuite a determined looking character - he looks as if he knows where he's heading for.
ReplyDeleteIndeed Anna, for potential sources of food :)
DeleteHe doesn't look at all bothered by the paparazzi.
ReplyDeleteHe's a pro Kris :)

ReplyDeleteHe obviously thinks you are a suspicious looking character sneaking up on him with a camera...
ReplyDeleteHaha, I think he's a vain one :)
DeleteThe color of his head is a work of art, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteIt is :)
DeleteWe have mallards exactly like this guy in a local park near me. Nice to see these birds are at home on both sides of the Atlantic!
ReplyDeleteA mutual bird interest :)
DeleteThose blue feathers! If I were exotic I'd wear a mallard hat.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad idea :)
DeleteBeautiful colours and markings, and I love his curly tail!
ReplyDeleteHe's a handsome one ;)
